The idea originated during Jacob’s time as Head Sommelier at Copenhagen Michelin restaurant, Herman, due to an unmet desire to find the perfect wine to complement the dessert. This led to an experiment with high quality teas, and resulted in the very first bottle of Sparkling Tea. A clear interest in the new beverage category was shown, and together with Bo, the idea was brought to the market.

The Taste

BLÅ has a long and complex taste. The first impression is fresh and lively with floral notes. It has a defining softness on the mid-palette, thanks to the white teas. It ends in a long and round finish. BLÅ is an excellent choice for an alcohol-free aperitif or paired with light starters and desserts.
